The client of restaurant Koi has multiple restaurants with the same concept throughout the country. De Projectgroep was tasked with designing and executing a plan for this Utrecht location situated at the historic Domplein in the city center.
The restaurant used to be a fashion store, and this presented a wonderful challenge to create a complete transformation. Everything had to be addressed from the ground up. In close collaboration with the client, De Projectgroep designed and executed the entire project. Every aspect of this extensive project was tackled - from electrical work, colors, materials to loose furniture. This ultimately resulted in a beautifully elegant and modern restaurant where many Utrechters and visitors enjoy delicious sushi for lunch and dinner on a daily basis.
