A hotel with a mission!
The new construction of the Boutique Hotel Dolphin Suites on Curaçao is in full swing. There will be 38 new-build apartments - suitable for 2-6 people. This unique hotel offers a beautiful and relaxing holiday spot for people with disabilities and families who participate in 'dolphin supportive therapy'.
It is an intensive program that lasts two weeks and families stay during that period in the Dolphin Suites Hotel, located opposite the leading therapy center: Curaçao Dolphin Therapy Center (CDTC). This place has been chosen as the best location for the dolphins, who have the opportunity to live here in their natural habitat. Dolphin therapy has proven to be highly effective and can help improve cognition and mobility for people with a wide range of developmental disabilities or physical and emotional conditions.
These therapy dolphins work in a specialist team of qualified therapists and trainers, under the supervision of a medical board of doctors. The program is complementary to the therapy that a patient receives at home.
The family members play a crucial role in the rehabilitation process and are closely involved in the activities and education that the program offers. That is why it is very important that they stay in the hotel as a family and Hotel Dolphin Suites offers all possible services for the whole family!
