Court Hotel with three special canal rooms in the wharf cellars of Utrecht
The four-star Court Hotel in the old court building in the heart of Utrecht (the history of which dates back to the year 1054!) offers, in addition to 27 design hotel rooms in the beautiful building, three specially designed hotel rooms in the wharf cellars on the canal.
De Projectgroep has been able to completely transform three wharf cellars on the Oudegracht, where at the beginning of the last century all fuel coal was stored and transshipped and then “distributed” by boat via the canals throughout the city, into truly unique hotel suites.
Each room has its own entrance. In two rooms, the box-spring bed is the focal point of the hotel room and both rooms have a bath. The third room has a separate bedroom, an entrance with seating and is equipped with a shower.
There is also a beautiful ceiling painting of the Court Hotel's epitome: Lady Justice - beautifully incorporated into the complete design of the hotel room.
A special experience to stay in one of the wharf cellars, which have been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2008. Precisely because they are so unique in the world.
