A new identity, full of character
Hotel Wander in Wageningen has gone through a major transformation. Formerly known for many years as Hotel WICC, it has reopened its doors with a fresh, contemporary look — without losing any of its familiar warmth.
De Projectgroep was responsible for the interior design of various hotel rooms, giving each one its own character within a cohesive style. The design radiates luxury, yet feels accessible and familiar at the same time.
A balance of atmosphere and detail
Warm earth tones form the common theme throughout the rooms. Textured wall coverings with a crocodile leather effect, botanical wallpaper with gold leaf motifs and dark oak create a rich, layered environment. Carefully chosen lighting fixtures — including a striking golden palm-leaf ceiling light — create the right atmosphere and fit perfectly with the hotel’s botanical theme.
The furniture has, of course, been selected with care: an organically shaped sofa, velvet cushions with floral motifs and bespoke storage niches next to the bed combine aesthetics with practicality.
Project interior design from A to Z
From concept to completion, De Projectgroep oversaw the entire interior design process. The result is a hotel that invites you to stay — and to return.
